Jensen Family Reunion

We just came back from Yuba Lake with the Jensen side. It seemed like the world was against us trying to get there. We were suppose to leave at 1:00 PM and instead we left at seven. We had to fix a leak in the water pump on the trailer, a flat tire on the trailer, and then at the last minute Jason's truck wouldn't start! Great ! So we waited...and waited.....for the guys to take the truck over to the shop. Three hundred dollars later we had a new starter and were on our way!
We got there at 8:00 Pm and lo and behold the wind was blowing...hard! so we huddled in the trailer pretty much the rest of the night and went to bed. The next day was windy until about late afternoon! We were finally able to get the boat out and play for a little while! The water was COLD! Over all the kids had a good time playing in the sand and getting as dirty as possible. The kids amazed me! They never complained! We had a fun time that night under the stars, no wind, and a campfire! The next morning we woke up to rain so we left. There was sand everywhere! So over all we had our ups and downs. But it was still a blast! And hey, isn't this the stuff that memories are made of? I love Summer time!

Dang! It always works out somehow that things don't work when you're trying to get out and do something. Glad it all turned out well and had lots of fun. :)

I would consider it worth all the trauma just to get that darling picture of Ember! What a doll!

Yep, sounds like a typical family trip. I think every trip our family tried taking usually ended up with the car breaking down. Good memories! Love those station wagons. None better than the 'green bomb', however.

Sounds like a day at the lake! You got some cute pictures though...that makes up for the wind!
