Happy Anniversary to me!

Eight years ago today I married my best friend....I know that sounds cheesy but it's true and I love him to death! He is an amazing husband, father, brother, friend, Sunday school teacher....haha etc.... I am so lucky to have this man in my life! So here's a cute picture I've been saving just for today. ( this is what happens when your husband shows up at a wedding you are shooting:) Ha Ha...thanks to my photographer buddy Vanessa for snapping a cute shot! And I love being married to you Jas.....It's been 8 years of pure joy:) Love YA!

Madison and Summer Playing......silly faces game?????

Ember was sooooo tired from her no nap:) She fell asleep eating her taco soup. It was so funny watching her doze in and out as she chewed her food. Poor little girl! So sad!



So Summer and Madison decided to get all greasy...they played on the skidsteer. Just as I was about to walk out the door to a photo shoot........this is what I saw!!! Needless to say i was STRESSED at the moment! Then summer turned to me and said "Mom don't clean it off until you take a picture...." that child knows her mommy too well. After much scrubbing it finally came off!

Suzy Homemaker ( for a day anyway )

You better look good at this post cause you might not see one like it again! Yesterday morning my good friend Rebecca came over and taught me how to make homemade bread. She even grinds the wheat herself! This is a huge accomplishment for me people! We made 6 loaves and it cost us about $1.50. That is so worth it! And with my trusty Bosch mixer it was really easy! Maybe I will try it again sometime. Just to get that taste of that hot bread smothered in butter and honey.....oh my it was a winner recipie for sure...here's a picture just to make your mouth water:)

We Love Aunt Angie

Ember was so excited to have Aunt Angie and Uncle Kevin come to her Party. They are so cute with my girls and always take time to play with them. Ember was thrilled to be playing pat-a-cake with Angie in this picture! Glad you came guys!

Stop! I do it to.

This was sooo cute! My sister in law was rocking Weston. Ember went up to her and said STOP! I do it too. She then climbed up on the chair with her baby and started singing and rocking her baby too. A typical two year old girl. I had to add the picture. So cute!

Party For Ember!

Is this the cutest thing ever! Ember loved every second of her two year old birthday party! She loved the sprinkles on her cake, the new baby she got, and all her family singing to her! They say terrible two's but I love this age it can be soooo adorable! Love You Ember

Barbie Jeep

Jason was home with the girls one night and he got out my camera and did a "photo shoot" of them in the barbie jeep. I was so proud of him for thinking of me and taking pictures so I could blog them. And here I am FINALLY getting around to posting this cute pic he took! I love the messy hair and the booger noses! That's my girls!

Neglected

My poor blog has been neglected for too long now! I am feeling so guilty! I have been so busy that I have totally ignored this so called "family journal". for me the whole idea of a blog is so that I can make it in to a book for my family to have. A record of everything that has gone on in 2008! So I had to evaluate and I rewalized that hte first part of the book will be great and the second part.... not so hot. I guess I need to repent and and get my fanny in gear! So get ready for some serious posting and catching up! ( My camera is in the shop so that frees me up a little more this week!)

I have been so busy working on getting my photography business going. My logo, website, new camera, the works. Then there's the photo shoots I have palnned, and editing those shoots. I'm really excited to go to Logan to do a mentor session with the amazing photographer Moments By Kellee! Her photography is amazing so click on her name and check it out! I can not wait!

Then you add my primary calling, my three girls, all their dance, tumbling, piano lessons, ballroom, school etc....... thats a load of stuff to do right there. Class Party mom and school volunteer, cleaning my house ( thats a life time of work ), class volunteering etc.... you get the point. There is not enough time in a day!

I could go on but I will spare you all the drama before I sound like i'm whining! ( or do I already? ) Sometimes a girls gotta vent ya know? I guess I need to get my priorities straight! ok so they seem straight maybe just crooked? You know what I mean. Ok so moving on.....Have you ever made a list of everything you do in a week? I don't suggest it...it's scary! Anyway, thanks for listening. Now I can start psoting.

I am a little bit ember happy right now! If it seems like I'm on overload with the ember pictures....well its cause this was such a cute photo shoot I can't resist! I found one more I love when I was editing my shots....this one I love because it is so her! The curious two year old....who really wants nothing to do with the camera, she just wants to play! So fun!

Happy Birthday to Ember Sky! You are so beautiful we love you! Has it really been two years! We love your smile and your two year old attitude! We love your scary face ( I'll have to post that one ) and your cute two year old language! We are so glad you are in our family!
