Stairs? On MY deck?

I have been waiting two years ( since we moved in here ) to have Jason build my stairs on to the deck! Lo and behold yesterday I went outside and nearly fainted... there was Jason my amazing & talented (not to mention good looking ) husband building me stairs! I almost did a back flip! okay not really but I was excited! This may seem like no big deal to you but to me.....a huge step in getting the yard the way we want it ! Now my kids won't fall off! So here's the pics and I will put a finished picture on when they are done. Hey I might even cook dinner to celebrate! Ha Ha!

This pretty much says it all!

Yesterday was my niece Kyras birthday. She turned four. This is Summer's best friend. We went over to their house for cake and presents. This picture of Kyra say's it all. She was the princess of everything . Summer did a good job of not being too jealous of the princess throne complete with dress, crown, neckalce, and mirror. Summer has no idea that aunt Sandy has the same throne for her on her fourth birthday. Two months is all she has to wait and watch. You can do it Summer! And Happy Birthday to Kyra!

Say Cheese

Can you guess what i asked Ember to do in this first picture? She has such a spunky attitude! It's nearly impossible to take pictures of her! I was determined to get some sort of a cute shot. This is the best I could do. They actually turned out adorable. She is 19 months this week and because I forgot to do her 18 month pictures...well, i am trying to catch up! She squints her eyes and says CHEESE! The only way to get a smile is to tickle those cute feet! Ember is talking like crazy and it is so adorable. I realized today I have three talking girls now...and myself:) My poor husband can't get a word in with all of us babbling on!

Malia's Piano Concert!

Malia did awesome on her second piano concert! This was the first concert where she was able to play with two hands! She played a song called Lightly Row. She did an amazing job from the long walk up to the stage, to the bow at the end!

The New Bike

This was a very exciting day! Summer has been working for over two months to earn her new bike. She had a chart and she had to show us that she could make good choices to earn stickers eventually leading to the bike. She had a list of things we were working on. After two months of trying very hard Summer reached her goal. The great day came and we took a special trip to Walmart to pick out a Disney Princess bike. I have to add that her cousin and best friend Kyra already had her bike. Summer seemed to find great motivation in making good choices knowing that Kyra was already pedaling down the street on her shiny pink and purple two wheeler. ( four with the trainers on ) I can't even explain the look on her face when I let her choose that bike off the rack. So as we went up to the check out stand the clerk asked her if she had to buy it with her own money. Summer said "No." I said "tell her what you had to do to earn it Summer." She replied, " I had to make a good choice." I said what were some of your good choices. She looked at me and said...."hmmmm....I don't remember!" Oh well, at least she will remember getting the bike!

secret Spies

I had to add this adorable picture. Kassidy my niece is so cute. She plays with my girls all the time. What a help! I love it! This was called secret spies. My girls thought it was so fun! They were investigating and pretending to be spies. Of course I had to stop them and get out the camera. If you know me you know I have to capture every adorable thing they do. This was so cute. I love it!

Easter 2008

Easter was so much fun! With all three girls fully excited for the arrival of the Easter bunny, there was much anticipation. The Easter bunny must have been excited too because we have way too much candy! It was so fun watching them race to find the eggs. Even Ember loved it this year!

Summer cutts her hair

My beautiful three year old Summer decided it would be fun to cut her hair off. If you can tell it was all the way past her rear end and now it isn't. We had to take about 8 inches off the back and the front......well......it will just have to grow out:) Oh well right? I only cried for an hour or so.... Did I mention she decided to color her face with a sharpie???? And her legs and stomach and my rug ???? Love that girl!
