" I told him he can have it that way for 24 hours. So Enjoy it while it's there...Saturday night it's gone.....I'm such a party pooper!

Is it really time?

I am so excited for Summer! I was so happy when my husband brought the boat home today out of Winter storage! I finally feel like it might actually be time! With all the tricks mother nature has played on us this year I was feeling like it would never happen! I am in big time need of a break from the school routine. First vacation on the list: Family reunion with the Jensen side at Yuba Lake!

Preschool Graduation

Summer had a pre-school program this week. It was really funny she was seated right by a mirror and she would not stop looking at her self! She looked so cute with her hair all curled! She would sing in the mirror and stick out her tounge! It was very entertaining. I love this time of year! It's so busy but there is so much to blog about!

Ember the Nose Picker

I realize that I am going overboard posting all these pictures of Ember but with all the stuff my other girls do i feel like she is never on the blog. So, whatever her talents may be at this age, even if it's picking her nose, I am going to post them!

Ember Sky

Ember is growing up so fast and it is scaring me if you know what I mean! She is so funny to watch now! she loves to copy everything her sisters do and she has her own little personality which is adorable! She's talking like crazy. Lately every time I say her name she turns around strikes a pose and says CHEESE! I think I have her trained! Here is some cute CHEESE shots of her! She's also on a nose picking kick! gross! We will have to get rid of that one!

Her first time on stage and she loved every second of it! Malia did three numbers...Broadway Baby, Bop to the top , and Batter Batter. I will post some video soon it was adorable! I can't believe how fast my girls are growing up! They thought it was so fun to get a rose at the end! This bottom picture is of Summer and her dance teacher Miss. Cassie. She is amazing and summer adores her! She is gone for the summer time but we can't wait until we get a chance to work with her next fall! The top picture is Malia with her Jazz teacher Miss Brandi. Mother's Day 2008

I loved this Mother's day! Aside from all the adorable things my kids made me at school and church, I had so much fun spending time with my husband and kids! That is all I wanted to do! After church we packed our picnic lunch and rode our bikes to the park. We had so much fun being together! The kids thought it was so cool to have daddy with us on a picnic since he never gets to come on such outings because he's at work. We had so much fun. The best thing about being a mom.....for me is being a mom. I love it. The ups and downs, the early morning tantrums, the drama, the laughing, the playing, being a taxi driver, cooking, dishes, potty training, etc....you know how long the list could go on. I am so thankful for my own mom who is amazing. I would not be where I am without her that's for sure. She taught me and still teaches me everything! When I don't know what to do she is the first person I call. So I hope you all had a very Happy Mother's day! Enjoy every minute of it! And if you aren't a mom yet......look forward to it because it's an amazing thing!

V Factory

Last Wednesday Malia and I went to the V-factory concert. This is a new boy band who just signed with Warner Brothers. They were awesome. One of them is from Utah. His Name is Jared Murillo. Malia dances at Center Stage Studio which is where he is from and his parents own. So we went with some of Malia's dance friends and had a blast! Malia got right up to the front of the stage and screamed her little heart out. It was funny! The band was awesome. If you haven't heard of them you will. They are on i-tunes if you want to check out their music. Anyway. Here are some pictures from this exciting event. I thought Malia would get tired and want to sit down but no chance of that. She stood up for about two hours and danced and sang and reached her hand out to give them five. It was fun watching her. So cute! Plus it was a fun mom-daughter night. Kassidy came with us and had a blast!

Summer's Field Trip

We can't leave this one out. Summer had a most exciting preschool field trip to pet-co. Her favorite part of the trip was petting the bunnies. We saw fish and birds, spiders, ferretts, turtles, bunnies, and dogs getting a hair cut. A very exciting adventure for those little three and four year olds. I love going on these field trips. It's so fun to be the mom! Who else would take all the pictures for me????

Field Trip with Malia

This particular field trip was very exciting. Malia's first time on a school bus. Our destination was thanksgiving point but for some reason I think these kindergarten kids were thinking more destination school bus. They were so fun to watch. Most of them excited and a couple of them scared ready to hear the word BRACE yelled out at any moment. I had to add these cute pics of Malia on her first school bus field trip. I can't believe the school year is over!

Summers Early Mother's Day Gift!

Summer could not wait to give me her Mother's day present. We all know there is no stopping a three year old who can't wait to open a present:) So I gave in and opened it. It was so cute watching her stare intently as I opened the paper. She blurted out before I even got a chance to finish opening the thing " it's a pen with a flower on it and a paper to write on with my message! " She was so excited! The message said " I love my mom because we go to kangaroo zoo and the zoo and she gives me hugs! " Is that so sweet or what! I love being a mom!

FHE- maybe not tonight!

Tonight was family home evening. It was a crazy one so I had to blog about it! My three almost four year old decided she wanted nothing to do with family night. She kept telling me " I'm just not ready and I don't want to do it " Summer Lynn showed us her rebellious side as she stomped out on to the deck proclaiming her lack of interest in FHE. I said ok Summer you can just wait on the deck. We then opened the window and sang Popcorn Popping as loud as possible to make sure she heard it ( her favorite song ) followed by a prayer by her sister blessing her to please come next time. Shouldn't I be dealing with this in ten years when she's 14?????? Anyway, long story short Ember my 20 month old starting throwing a fit, summer had a melt down and Malia wouldn't stop doing hand stands and cart wheels!!! So I gave my husband a one minute lesson on following the Prophet out of the April friend magazine :) I'm sure he appreciated it. I sat there wondering if any of my kids got one thing out of the whole experience. It was just crazy and now that I look back pretty comical. One of those times when you had to be there. Oh well I guess i get a E for effort right?

Westons Blessing

My little nephew Weston was blessed today. He is so stinkin' adorable I can't get enough! He looked so cute in his little tie and button down shirt. I just happen to get a couple cute shots of him smiling! That was lucky! Isn't he cute!

Photo Shoot

So most of my weekend was spent taking pictures which is a huge passion that I have. I am a total amateur but i still like to get creative with the camera and have some fun. So on my back deck I hung up some black fleece and went to town. Here are some of the cute ones. You won't recognize some of the models:) They are friends of mine! I might do a photography blog but for now....here are some of my favorites!

Summers Pre-school quilt

Summer brought home the most adorable quilt from school. every square had something she made or colored in it. We tied it and Summer thought this was so cool! This is one of those quilts I will never be able to throw away because if all the little things she colored. It even has her hand prints and her three year old signature! So cute even daddy watched !

Car Wash Anyone?

Kassidy and Aunt Sarah were so nice to let my girls help wash the car. My girls thought it was so fun! Of course they had to get all wet. and wash the car with soapy sponges after it was already clean and dry...but that's the fun of it right! Thanks Kass and Sarah! For so patiently watching my kids for me and for taking pictures of all the fun!
