Happy 24th!

Happy Pioneer day! This year we went way out of the norm and decided to stay home for the 24th! Our good friends the Barrons came over and we had a BBQ. The kids swam and jumped on the tramp and then we went across the street for fireworks at the Stones house! It was a very relaxing day and very fun! So relaxing and fun i failed to take hardly any pictures! Here's what I did get.

Ember's favorite part of the Provo Canyon

Ember's favorite part of the picnic.....walking off the line, then on the line, off the line, then on the line, you get it ?......if not see the pictures for a demonstration. She was entertaining us all!

cookout!

We have been wanting to go up the canyon for a cook out for it seems like forever! This Summer has been busier then most it seems like. we haven't had as much play time! So we finally just did it! Thank you to my amazing husband who cooked dutch oven for everyone. IT was sooooo good! He is an amazing cook! We had so much fun just being up in the mountains and doing....well nothing! Malia made sand angels
( see picture ), the girls ate watermelon ( so did I of course), summer modeled for me free of charge ( see picture ), and Weston looked around with those big brown eyes. Oh yes and ember, see the post above for her favorite part of the trip!

Slacker!

Ok so I realize I have not been keeping up on my blogging! I have been so busy editing pictures for everyone else that I have neglected my blog! I am going to try and get back on track so ...let's start now...yep it's 2:00 A.M. and I should be asleep but in order to give my children all the attention they need tomorrow, I will post tonight! Woo Hoo! Life is a roller coaster!

Sleeping Beauty

Tonight was the very first full length ballet that Jason or I have ever been too. Malia was a baby bluebird in Sleeping Beauty. It was so much fun to watch her smiling and loving the stage! ( as usual ). That girl can't get enough! She loves dance. She never complains about going. She is the cutest baby blue bird I have ever seen! And congrats to Daddy for surviving what I'm sure is the first of many Ballet's!

Happy Birthday Summer

Happy Birthday Summer Lynn! I can't believe you are 4 years old today! (It makes me sad that my adorable little kids just keep growing!) At the same time I am having so much fun being your mommy and watching you grow up! You are amazing and beautiful and I am so glad you are in our family! Thank You for just being you! I love you so much! Love Mom! PS You were so excited that mommy let you make and decorate your very own cake! It turned out beautiful! Way too go!
Daddy was such a great sport! He Shared Father's Day with Summer's birthday and didn't complain! In fact he made sure she had all the attention in the world! Another reason why he is an awesome dad! He always puts hid kids first!
Summer's Birthday party was so much fun! She had 6 of her little friends over for a party!
Here is the huge waterslide we borrowed from some friends so Summer could have a water party....it ws a huge hit with the neighborhood kids!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's day to all the Dad's out there! I had to post this adorable picture of my cute hubby with my girls. He is such a good daddy! My girls love him and look up to him so much! What more could I ask for! He is so patient ( being the only Male in the house currently ) and is so loving to the girls! I am so thankful for such an amazing husband and daddy! Happy Father's Day!

Jensen Family Reunion

We just came back from Yuba Lake with the Jensen side. It seemed like the world was against us trying to get there. We were suppose to leave at 1:00 PM and instead we left at seven. We had to fix a leak in the water pump on the trailer, a flat tire on the trailer, and then at the last minute Jason's truck wouldn't start! Great ! So we waited...and waited.....for the guys to take the truck over to the shop. Three hundred dollars later we had a new starter and were on our way!
We got there at 8:00 Pm and lo and behold the wind was blowing...hard! so we huddled in the trailer pretty much the rest of the night and went to bed. The next day was windy until about late afternoon! We were finally able to get the boat out and play for a little while! The water was COLD! Over all the kids had a good time playing in the sand and getting as dirty as possible. The kids amazed me! They never complained! We had a fun time that night under the stars, no wind, and a campfire! The next morning we woke up to rain so we left. There was sand everywhere! So over all we had our ups and downs. But it was still a blast! And hey, isn't this the stuff that memories are made of? I love Summer time!
